C. Scott "scotto" Gilbert is a founding member of Ten point Ten, playing bass guitar and serving as the band's chief organizer and strategist for several years. After a departure that joined Scott with Joey McGee, he returned to TpT with Joey in January 2002—now playing guitars and keyboards.

Scott's musical adventures began in the late 1970's when he joined a newly formed band named "Empty Pockets" with high school best friend Dan Sharrow.
